Job Description

Summary/objective

Performs a variety of electronic test operations to troubleshoot and coordinate repair of various electronic components.

Essential functions

Test various electronic assemblies to customer requirements using customer supplied test fixtures and various types of test equipment.
Diagnose failing assemblies to component level using schematics, test programs and equipment.
Analyze and interpret test data.
Diagnose failing assemblies to component level
Set-up test equipment and/or functional test stations to perform customer specific testing.
Ability to perform failure analysis and identify root cause.
Work with other members of the line or group in order to test products
Identify any defective items and handle them according to established procedures.

Ability to use reason to solve problems as they arise.
Meet all safety requirements of the company and industry.

Physical Demands

Must be able to lift or move up to 25 pounds.
Close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Fine motor skills.

Required education and experience

High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum one year experience in the electronics industry
Equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered
Ability to read and follow verbal instructions in English
